This page outlines our terms and conditions for touring units, tents & pod hire.

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO VARY THE FOLLOWING IF CONDITIONS DEMAND

It is our aim that all our holiday guests enjoy their stay with us. To this end we have just a few rules, if kept, enable the smooth running, relaxing and peaceful atmosphere of the site for all guests. We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave should their behaviour be seen to ignore the rules below, on our website, posted in the office and on our site notice board.

Touring and Tents

Bookings and Payments – A deposit of £25* per pitch per booking, or full payment when the total amount is less than the deposit required. Reservations are made subject to availability on receipt of your deposit. Balance to be paid 2 weeks prior to arrival. Bookings made within 1 week of arrival must be paid for in full. Bookings cancelled after this time will not be refunded. Please see our terms below. Nurseries Caravan Park recommends that customers take out travel insurance to cover cancellations. Debit and Credit Cards – no fees.

Check in – Strictly no arrival until 1pm on the day of arrival. Please notify in advance of any arrival which will be after 6pm, and if you fail to notify us of a different arrival date we have the right to re-let the pitch.

Check out – On departure, sites to be vacated by 12 noon unless you have made alternative arrangements with reception.

Pitches – Allocated pitches may change prior to arrival, but pitch type will always remain the same. Maximum tent size – 7m x 5m.

Group bookings – No larger than 3 pitches per group. Please note we do not accept larger groups, stag or hen parties. If found on arrival to have made individual booking and then form a group, you may be asked to leave the park.

Minimum Stays – A minimum of 1 night mid-week, 2 nights weekends and 3 nights across Bank and Public Holidays.

Site Quiet – Please note ‘Site Quiet’ is between 11pm – 8am. This includes noise of any description including vehicle movement. This is for the best interest of our guests with nightly checks completed. This doesn’t suit everyone so please make sure you are happy with our ‘site quiet’ policy before booking.

Cars – We allow 1 car per pitch. Any 2nd car, large vans and commercial vehicles can park in the car park.

Barrier  Cars cannot pass through the barrier between the hours of 10pm and 8am to comply with our ‘Site Quiet’ policy. If you need to leave earlier than 8am, please speak with reception on arrival. In case of an  emergency please use the yellow phone on the front reception wall.

Commercial vehicles – No commercial or sign-written vehicles unless with prior approval. These vehicles must be parked on our main car-park.
No commercial enterprise or business activities may take place on the park.

Dogs – Dogs are free of charge with a maximum of 2 dogs per pitch. Dogs must be exercised in the designated areas and not around your pitch where they must be kept on leads at all times. Please pick up after them using the allocated dog waste bins. Dogs must not be left unattended at any time. If your dogs show aggressive behaviour, management reserves the right to request owners (and dogs) to leave the park without a refund.

Children – Children are the responsibility of their parents and must not play football or games around the park. Please use the football field or games room provided. Under 12’s must be accompanied to the children’s playground.

Awnings / Gazebos – Awnings must be securely fastened. Gazebos are not permitted.

Fires/BBQs – No open fires of any kind are permitted. Barbecues are permitted, but must not be turned into an open fire after use and must be kept off  the ground/grass. Stands are available from reception at a fee of £10 refundable deposit.

Behaviour – Whilst on the park please respect other guests and their property. No verbal / physical abuse of any kind to staff or guests will be tolerated. Those in breach will be requested to leave the park immediately, without refund.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations within 7 days of arrival: Deposit and balance non-refundable. Booking can be transferred to a new date within the current year, subject to availability.

*Nurseries Caravan Park recommends that customers take out travel insurance to cover cancellations.

Cancellations with 8 days’ notice or more: Deposit non-refundable, but remaining balance is refundable. Booking can be transferred to a new date within the current year, subject to availability.

Disclaimer: The management will not accept responsibility for the loss, theft, damage or injury to any person or their property whilst on the premises. CCTV is in operation on the premises. Any theft/ damage to property at Nurseries will be chargeable. Nurseries Caravan Park recommend that customers take out their own travel insurance.


Glamping Pod Hire

Bookings and Payments – A non-refundable deposit of £50 per unit. Reservations are made subject to the site being available on receipt of your deposit. Balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival. Bookings made within 6 weeks of arrival must be paid for in full. Bookings cancelled after this time will not be refunded. Please see our terms below. We would recommend taking out cancellation insurance to cover this cost. Debit and Credit Cards – no fees.

Minimum stays – Minimum stay 2 nights. Short stays possible where available during low season. See website or contact reception.

Group Bookings – No more than 2 units per booking. Please note we do not accept groups, stag or hen parties. If found on arrival to have made individual bookings – and then form a group – you may be asked to leave without a refund.

Occupancy – Maximum occupancy is strictly limited to 6 people including children and infants in cots, as advertised online. The management reserves the right to terminate at any time, without refund if the accommodation is found to be occupied by more than the persons stated on the booking form.

Check in – Units are available strictly from 3pm on the day of arrival. Keys, barrier codes and bedding will be issued on arrival. Please notify in advance of any arrival which will be after 6pm, and if you fail to notify us of a different arrival date we have the right to re-let the unit.

Keys – Available at Reception from 3pm on the day of arrival. Please notify in advance of any arrival which will be after 6pm. On departure, keys are to be returned to Reception by 10am. Lost keys will be charged at £3 each.

Barrier CardsWill be issued with keys at the time of check in from on the day of arrival.

Bedding – Bedding is supplied at reception along with keys on arrival after 3pm and to be returned with keys and barrier card on departure by 10am. 

Check out – All units are to be vacated by 10am and all keys returned to the office upon departure, unless you have made alternative arrangements with reception. Please place your bedding in the lounge area upon check out.
