Nurseries Caravan Park FAQs

The caravan park is approximately three miles away by car. There is a bus stop in Woodthorpe, around a 15-minute walk from the park, with services into the city centre. A Park & Ride facility is also available at Askham Bar, just a few minutes away by car, motorhome, or campervan.

We’re open from 1st March to 31st October.

Yes, but please keep your dog on a lead at all times. We just ask that you let us know at the time of booking (2 dogs max per pitch)

**Please note we do not accept dogs in our glamping units**

Not normally, however this is down to the owners/manager’s discretion.

Yes, mainly essentials and a little more! Hearts Boutique also has a small corner in our shop, perfect for picking up gifts or treating yourself.

Yes, we are on a cycle path to York City Centre and it is just 3 miles.

Gazebos are at the managers discretion, please ask at the time of booking.

Arrival from 1pm and departure by 12 noon.

Standard hardstanding pitches are approximately 7–9 metres wide, while fully serviced super pitches are around 9–10 metres wide. The length of pitches varies depending on their location within the touring field.

You can park 1 car on your pitch, if you have an extra car it must be parked in the car park.

Yes, 3 nights.

We have standard hardstands and fully serviced super pitches.

Yes, however they are all reserved, we do have a waiting list though. If you would like to register your interest please contact us.

The use of raised barbecues is permitted. BBQ stands can be hired from reception.

Yes, a £25 deposit per touring pitch and £50 deposit per glamping unit is required to confirm a booking.

The full balance is due on glamping bookings 6 weeks prior to arrival. Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to a later date at our discretion and pending availability.
